Upcoming Events
The new year has brought us some expansion. We have moved beyond children’s book to include chapter books for school aged children and young adults. In addition to the inventory increase, we have started holding story time for our young visitors.
Memorial Day we will be kicking off Mahjong Monday. Please join us!
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Join us for a special workshop on May 23rd.
Weekend Storytimes! Saturday will be in English and Sunday will be in Spanish.
May Author Event: We will be hosting an author talk and book singing with Warren Foster Sr. and Oji Samuel Blackston the authors of Queen Khalifa and the Empire of Xi.
Join us for our first ever Free Book Friday on May 1st, 2026. First to get full black out and yell, “Loteria!” wins a free book.

Join us in celebrating lunar new year with a read-aloud of Grumpy New Year, followed by crafts, games and Yummy lite bites for all.
Join us for a warm, engaging read-aloud of I Have a Dream, beautifully illustrated and perfect for sparking big conversations with little hearts. After the reading, children will create themed crafts inspired by Dr. King’s dream, encouraging them to express their own hopes for kindness, equality, and unity. Come build community, celebrate diversity, and leave inspired to carry Dr. King’s dream into everyday life.
After a 3 year long wait, we are finally in a brick and mortar. Join us for our grand opening Saturday January 3rd in Antioch.
